I’m passionate about health, enjoy diverse conversations, and strive to uncover smart, original ideas for clients.

With nearly two decades serving as a healthcare market researcher and applied psychologist, I champion the use of innovative methods like cognitive ergonomics and behavioral economics to uncover deeper human insights. A strategic thought partner, I help teams challenge boundaries and bias for action, translating complex data into tactical interventions designed to drive authentic behavior change. I’m particularly passionate about Rare Diseases, for which I founded various Centers of Excellence and activation frameworks, having received best-in-class industry recognition. From exploratory assessments to drivers/barriers research and campaign communications, I blend science and creativity to help our partners launch compassionate, innovative, human-centered brands.
What sparks my passion inside of work?
I’ve frequently been asked, “Why healthcare market research?” Because every single day, I engage in tasks that spark my intellectual curiosity, grow my knowledge, allow me to be creative, enable me to think strategically and ideate, all while having the honor of knowing that I, along with my amazing industry colleagues, am personally contributing to enhancing patient outcomes, improving healthcare systems and advancing scientific innovation. ‘Why NOT healthcare market research?’
What sparks my passion outside of work?
Outside of work, art sparks my passion! I love discovering and meeting new artists, visiting galleries, and exploring different mediums. For me, art is a window into different perspectives and an endless source of inspiration. It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about connecting with the deeper emotions and human emotions behind each piece and having the privilege of expanding my understanding of the world through the lens of creativity and the experiences of others – which mirrors my approach to understanding people and sparking human insights in research.

With 15 years in the healthcare research industry, I began my career as a qualitative researcher. Combining my passion for bringing stories to life with my background in communications, video production, and fine arts, I’ve found a unique way to blend both. My experience in the research and creative sides of the industry gives me a distinct perspective on how to develop meaningful and impactful creative work.

For almost 20 years, she has conducted thousands of one-on-one interviews and focus groups with healthcare professionals and consumers both in-person and via web-based platforms. In addition, she has designed and led customized workshops with consumers, professionals, clients and agencies to reveal brand opportunities, new product needs and potential services to enhance brand consideration and commitment.

He finds energy in diving into robust quantitative data and a thrill in uncovering the deeper "whys" through qualitative insights. For Paolo, every project is an opportunity to blend analytical rigor with empathy, revealing actionable insights that empower brands.

Qualitative Specialist
I have been a full-time healthcare moderator for over twenty years. My expertise runs the gamut of qualitative research methodologies across the product pipeline from molecule to post-launch. In addition to my experience across a broad spectrum of conditions (e.g., rare diseases, diabetes, autoimmune, respiratory, CNS, infectious disease, etc.), with in-depth experience in hematology/oncology, including NSCLC, colon, gastric/GEJ, HCC, RCC, ovarian, pancreatic, head & neck, breast, multiple myeloma, CML, AML, ALL, DLBCL, and MCL.
I’m known for my improvisational style that gets results while allowing clients to make changes on the fly. Equally capable of coming across as a peer to both HCPs and patients, I keep respondents engaged and create a casual environment that fosters insightful discussion. I’m thorough and relentless, unafraid to challenge respondents or go off script when needed. I excels at encouraging respondents to open up while always keeping an eye on the clock and leaving no stone unturned.
I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and have received professional training in the principles of behavioral economics (BE) and neurolinguistic programming (NLP).

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and dream of one day building a personal library at home, complete with a rolling ladder to reach the books on the highest shelves.
